NESIDIOCORIS MIP
Nesidiocoris tenuis is a predatory hemipteran, feeding especially on the tobacco mealybug (Bemisia tabaci) in all its stages and the greenhouse mealybug (Trialeurodes vaporarium). It can also feed on aphids, mites, thrips, as well as eggs and small larvae of lepidopterans, such as the tomato plant (Tuta absoluta).
Recommendations and Doses
Hexamolysis can be done in a seed layer to to ensure their early establishment or as soon as the crop is established in the greenhouse.
Open the container in the greenhouse, distributing its contents evenly on the leaves or application frames, avoiding the strong light of the central hours of the day.
Dosage: 500-1000 individuals / ha, from the beginning of flowering releasing somewhat higher amounts in late crops than in early plantings.
Recommend the incorporation of lepidopteran eggs, as a food source, to ensure optimal establishment of Nesidiocoris at times when prey levels are low.
